Karmayog India’s ‘Girl Education Program’ (GEP) has been working to ensure quality elementary education for children, especially girls and those from marginalized communities, to help them become the leaders and changemakers of the future. We work with various community partners, shelters, orphanages, and individuals in need to distribute the collected clothing. They often target specific demographics, such as homeless individuals, refugees, low-income families, or disaster-stricken areas.
We often work to provide access to clean and safe drinking water for communities that lack this essential resource. This can involve building wells, boreholes, water filtration systems, or water distribution networks to ensure a reliable supply of clean water.
We offer a wide range of services to the elderly, including healthcare, nutrition, housing, transportation, counseling, and social activities. These services are tailored to the specific needs of the elderly individuals they serve.
We often work in impoverished communities to identify and reach out to children in need. We focus on specific groups, such as orphans, street children, child laborers, or those affected by conflict or natural disasters.
Our offer case management services to assess the unique needs and goals of homeless individuals. Case managers work with clients to develop personalized plans, connect them to healthcare, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and employment services, and monitor their progress towards stable housing and self-sufficiency.
We work with a network of local food banks, pantries, shelters, schools, and other community organizations to distribute the donated food to those in need. This distribution network helps ensure that food reaches the right people at the right time.
